BREAKING SOLACE a name that shouldn’t be taken lightly because this New York based band is back with a vengeance and it shows in their overall attitude and stage package they bring to each and every town they play in. I was first introduced to Vocalist Dan Burk and the band back when their 6 song EP; came out. Soon after I fell in love with the band a hiatus was taken and, in that time, Burk reconstructed a new family of brothers who undeniably have gelled and meshed so well that it shines through on the stage and beyond.

I was able to get to see the guys in a live setting when they did a small mini tour in support of the new revival of BREAKING SOLACE and to promote the future of what is to come with the band and let me tell you New York has something very special in these guys. For one the band who has limited funds as any struggling independent band has brings a sensational live show with them. The energy, the showmanship; and the stage props just enhances the overall talent and creative nature that can be heard in the songs. The songs come to life in a live setting; FEAR NO MORE, MY ETERNITY, DESCEND, THROWN AWAY were given a new depth of life when you get to have these songs played in your face at a loud level! 110% credit to each and every band member for the power and emotion set free from start to finish; blood sweat and tears are left on each and every stage they play. The set is so active and interactive that you are pretty spellbound to the stage at all times. I have to say going into the show I was going in with no expectations, thinking I was going in to see my friends band rock out and although I adored the songs on the CD I never expected what I saw that night.

Highly impressed, with the professionalism, the talent and the pure love and dedication these guys have for their craft, the fans and the music they create.
