All Time Low Blows into Sioux Falls By: Elsa Martinez Photos by: Elsa Martinez In the midst of a spring winter storm, no travel advised, and road closures, All Time Low blew into town (quite literally) commenting that “A little snow ain’t gonna stop us from coming to Sioux Falls!” Part two of their latest release, Last Young Renegade, aptly named The Young Renegades Tour Part II, was almost cancelled due to the massive snow storm that blew into South Dakota and Minnesota, but the bus driver bravely weathered the storm and got the band and crew here safely to give a great show. ATL had not been here since 2014, so this show was a long over due in our city. Playing hits like “Somewhere in Neverland” , “Lost in Stereo” (Don’t Panic), “Something’s Gotta Give”, “Kids In The Dark” (Future Hearts), “Life of the Party” and Title track from Last Young Renegade, and of course their forever show ender “Dear Maria, Count Me In” (So Wrong, It’s Right). The show was cut a few songs short because lead man, Alex Gaskarth, had a bad cold and sore throat, to which he attributed to the extreme weather changes from balmy Florida to frigid South Dakota. The fans were not disappointed in any way, but instead, were so grateful that they drove in such dangerous weather to avoid cancelling the show. Fans flocked to see them from the four surrounding states just to see them in their all to infrequent visits to the area. All Time Low is: Alex Gaskarth – lead vocals, rhythm guitar Jack Barakat – lead guitar, backing vocals Zach Merrick – bass, backing vocals Rian Dawson – drums This leg of the tour runs through April 21st, ending in Chico, CA so check their website and find a city near you. Support groups Gnash and Dreamers bring a different mix to the tour with great performances. www.alltimelow.com www.gnash.us www.dreamersuniverse.com
