Opening the night was Canada's own Sumo Cyco. From the beginning guitar riff of the opener Sleep Tight we knew this was gonna be a rocking set. Supporting their album Opus Mar, they knew how to capture and keep our attention all night. Lead vocalist Sever took to the crowd twice this evening. Once to run to the bar and get a shot of whiskey which she then went into the pit and cheered and drank with the audience. Then again right before their last song back into the pit getting everybody low to floor, as the music started they all rise and the pit went crazy. Next up was co-headline Nonpoint . Opening up with the Sirius Radio Heavy Bullet. The carnage began and didn't stop all set. They also played some songs from their upcoming album Ten. Closing tonight's show (the switch closers every night in this tour) were Century Media recording artist The Butcher Babies. Opening with three songs off their latest album Lilith . Heidi and Carla destroyed the crowd at The Space.
Having two great headlining bands in one tour is rare and the crowd appreciated. The tour rolls on, this one is not to be missed.
