Before the doors Opened at The Paramount, the town of Huntington NY knew something big was about to happen. As there was a line down the road and up the block of devoted fans waiting to get in.Opening the night were Swedish band Cyhra.opening with "Dead to me". the still filling in crowd was headbanging and shouting lyrics from being to end.Having recorded their album "Letters to myself" in NYC they felt plenty at home.

Next up were the German Thrash Legends Kreator! Spanning a remarkable 36 years. These guys brought it and so did the crowd ,with a massive old school circle mosh pit the entire show.Opening with "phantom antichrist" and not just relying on the standards but also playing songs from their new Nuclear Blast album "Gods of Violence". These Thrash Legends did not disappoint.

As soon as the members of Kreator left the stage and the road crew began tearing down and setting up for Sabaton. The packed to the rafters crowd began chanting Sab-a-Ton,Sab-a-ton. Opening with "art of war" the crowd went from the mosh pit to constant crowd surfing and you can tell from the smile on singer Joakim Broden, the band enjoyed it. Was an amazing show with a great setlist spanning their 17 year career, including Sparta, blood of Bannockburn ,the last stand from their newest Nuclear Blast record "the last stand". What a great way to end the week.
