Dallas, TX based Nu-Metal Band Phoenix Rising has released the Official Music Video for their newest single "Lights Out," off of their upcoming debut LP, From the Ashes. A love letter to UFC and ESports, this high energy music video follows a day in the life of an MMA fighter and ESports Street Fighter 5 gamer as they get ready for their respective tournament matches. "The newest single from PHOENIX RISING, "LIGHTS OUT” is one of the most aggressive songs in our repertoire. This is an anthem for those people who are constantly getting kicked down by life and the ongoing struggles that never seem to cease. We will never be beaten! 'You think its an easy win, I am a phoenix and I just rise again.' For the video, we decided to make it a love letter to UFC and Esports since everyone in the band enjoys MMA matches and competitive video games. We wanted a high energy music video that shows a day in the life of a MMA fighter and Esports Street Fighter 5 gamer in parallel as they get ready for their respective tournament matches. The two fighters awaken with purpose and the video instantly delves into their day. The fighters train, practice combinations, and go to the tournament all culminating in the final knockout against their nemesis. The video showcases PHOENIX RISING not only performing in the octagon ring, we wanted each member to have a cameo in the video as well! 'LIGHTS OUT' has a ton of attitude and is built to get the blood pumping with driving beats combined with aggressive riffs. With lyrics like "Step inside the ring I'm ready to go", we wanted "LIGHTS OUT" to give you the motivational energy to get up and fight for what you want out of life." - Phoenix Rising PHOENIX RISING, based out of Dallas, Texas, came together in 2017 in the most unlikely of places: a Craigslist ad posted by Vocalist Kent Summerour in search of like-minded musicians who not only wanted to make music with substance, but who wanted to create a live spectacle like nothing else in the local music scene. After a short search and a lot of luck, the ad was answered by five seasoned musicians one of whom was Australian. Comprised of a second vocalist, guitar, synth and a whole lot of rhythm, PHOENIX RISING was born. Like setting fire to gas, the newly formed group had written an album's worth of material in one month, and the search for producers began. This search led PHOENIX RISING to Tyler Smyth; however Smyth was on tour six hours away in San Antonio . With no way to get in touch with Smyth, Kent went down to San Antonio with a pillow and a sleeping bag, on a mission to maneuver himself back stage, and persuade Smyth to listen to the demos, hoping that after hearing the music, Smyth would be driven to work with the band. Mission Complete, Smyth agreed to work with PHOENIX RISING in LA and shortly thereafter, the band flew out to record their debut album From the Ashes. With the Album complete, supported by several Music Video's - PHOENIX RISING now look forward to drawing emotion from the listener and inspire fans with their powerful stage show. The music has a very "overcoming" quality to it. Musically and lyrically, PHOENIX RISING wants you to stand up for what you believe in and overcome any and all adversity that blocks your path.

Each track is a different journey down the rabbit hole of another Life Lesson I was lucky enough to learn the hard way because I myself prefer the road less traveled, for it is only on those paths that we are lucky enough to experience Emotion colliding with Inspiration while tumbling in the Imagination of our minds. As musicians, it is our duty to bring those experiences to life through our art. "Life Lessons" is like a psychological fall and rise again emotional journey mixed with punk rock, blastbeats and a 7 string." Las Vegas based Metal band WE GAVE IT HELL has released their debut LP, Labyrinth with music videos for the singles “Mapmaker” and "Prayer."
"'Mapmaker' is that song that summarizes and the concept of the album LABYRINTH. It's about individual struggle. It's about depression or anxiety at any level. It's about self-torment and being stuck in one's head even when one seems to be absolutely fine. The music was written in such a way that carries a somewhat "happy" feeling during the verses then transitions into a "dark" and/or "sad" feeling. The lyrics were carefully chosen to keep the listener understanding and empathizing with the song. We were very stoked and pleased when the pre-production of this song was done and couldn't wait to release it. The video illustrates what we've meticulously worked on for this song." - We Gave It Hell Track List: 1. Prayer 2. Darkman 3. The Other Day 4. Evergreen 5. O.B.E. 6. Mapmaker 7. Tyrant 8. Labyrinth 9. Storm Chaser 10. Death Drive Download / Stream Labyrinth Online LA Rockers All Good Things are back with their newest video "For The Glory".
The band first made waves in the media earlier last year when they released their album ‘Machines’ but their back story is a very interesting one. A group of seasoned session and touring musicians came together as friends to jam and record some music. After putting their music online, they quickly gained a fan base and over 90k Spotify listeners per month. The response was so great that they decided to make it official and form a band! With its humble beginnings in the dark safety of the recording studio, creating epic theatrical rock for games, movies and trailers under the banner of “BATTLE ROCK”, the band ‘All Good Things’ was born. Touring musicians, producers, songwriters, artists and friends - this group of seasoned music industry players began the project for the simple pleasure of making music together, but stumbled upon a sound and an energy that quickly went viral. California Rock Band RadioBlack have partnered with Legend Distribution / INgrooves to launch their action packed single "Thread (I Am)." After signing with CB Entertainment Artist Management firm in 2017, this year will see a new single in March with a full-length album in May followed by extensive touring. Shortly after recording at the Foo Fighters’ private Studio 606, lead singer/guitarist TJ Courtney brought in drummer Derek Gledhill, founding member of Smile Empty Soul, and bassist Hayato Takano to form RadioBlack. The 3-piece’s sound is a melodic mixture of grunge and 90's inspired alt-rock that incorporates modern production elements. The 606 sessions were recorded through the famed Sound City Neve 8028 analog console, previously graced by the likes of Nirvana, Rage Against The Machine, and Paul McCartney. Producer John "Lou" Lousteau arranged dream collaborations for Courtney with Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters), Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy), Chris Chaney (Jane's Addiction), and Mick Murphy (My Ruin, Chevy Metal). The production team was rounded out by "Sound City" documentary producer Jim Rota, and Brad Smith of Blind Melon. These recordings will be featured on Radio Black's debut album, slated for release next spring. The remainder of the album was recorded with producer/mixer Jason "Space" Smith (Memento, Digital Daggers) with sessions that featured the new line-up at Wishbone Studios, Ocean Way, and The Village Recorder. Having already shared the stage with Puddle of Mudd, Trapt, and Vast, and with plans to release singles throughout the rest of the year, RadioBlack shows no signs of slowing down in the lead up to their 2018 debut. "Between Courtney's gruff vocals and Hawkins' steady drumming, (Run Away) has an emotional intensity akin to the Foo's own 'Times Like These.'" - Consequence of Sound "RadioBlack's TJ Courtney is living proof that taking risks pays off.” – PureVolume Phoenix, AZ - Alternative Rock band Divided Minds have released their single and music video for "Don't Get Too Close," premiering the song in New Noise Magazine. “Don't Get Too Close” is the first single off of their upcoming EP, Mood Swings, releasing April 6th via We Are Triumphant. From Ashes To New drop the official music video for "Crazy," the first single off of their upcoming LP, The Future, releasing April 20th via Better Noise Records / Eleven Seven Music. The album is available for pre-order today. “Crazy” is the first look into the Lancaster, PA-based band’s revamped lineup and sound. Consisting of founding front man/rapper/programmer Matt Brandyberry, guitarist Lance Dowdle, new vocalist Danny Case, and drummer Mat Madiro, the band’s chemistry lies at the core of The Future. An album that sees the band expanding their music palette and taking their blend of rock, hip/hop, pop, and metal to new heights. “Anxiety made it difficult to write at times but ultimately we came together and decided we were going to write the best music we possibly could and see where that took us” said Brandyberry. “Crazy is, at its core, a song about someone or something driving you absolutely out of your mind and feeling unable to walk away from it. I feel like everyone at one point or another experiences that in their lives” states Danny ”For me personally, I dated someone for a very short period of time and it felt like everything I said and did was wrong. I honestly thought I was losing my mind because I knew it was a bad situation, but I just felt like I couldn’t walk away. I think having that life experience really helped when we sat down and wrote the lyrics” "Crazy" is a huge anthem for the people feeling caught in the middle of a situation and confused by it all. It was recorded at Atrium Audio with producers Grant McFarland and Carson Slovak (August Burns Red) and mixed by Josh Wilbur (Korn, Lamb Of God), while the video was directed by Raul Gonzo. |
