ALICE SWEET ALICE - Circus Maxium - The Modern Bloodshedding

Alice Sweet Alice, This band is here to have a good time. The music..... From each drum beat to the guitar licks it was all intertwined together to create this spectacular album. As a new listener I had no expectations. The first song made me alert like wow ok Alice got it going on. So on to the rest of the songs I went. I enjoyed each song. All the lyrics hit home. "Catfish" was funny and probably my favorite. They even have a song with no lyrics that had me moving. The sound is clean and crisp.

The last song is "Time Machine" and I'm not sure if that's meant to be like that because the whole album took me thru a time machine. It was the perfect description for the album. It started with some disco rock then grooved into some The Doors feel music and brought it back up to some 80s pop rock sound. It was fun to bop around and rock at the same time to some sick lyrics.
